Activity

The goal of IncrASTible! is the promotion of the restoration history of the Monastery of Astino, rethinking the cultural and educational offer in a digital key in order to react to the effects of the lockdown on the Bergamo community. The ultimate goal is to elevate the monastery to a culture-generating place, involving teachers, students, professionals and local cultural companies in a high-impact creative process.

We will focus on the recent history of the Monastery, when the complex was restored and redeveloped. New approaches to access the local heritage will be adopted through innovative technologies, such as serious gaming and augmented reality, and stimulate the interest of the younger population. Visitors will observe the archival data overlapping the real architecture, experiencing the history of the architectural space.

The project is led by Fondazione MIA, and its partners are CNR IMATI, Accademia di Belle Arti di Verona and Associazione OPS! Officina delle PosSibilità.
